A collaboration with the Coal Creek Watershed Coalition for the Slate River Bike Tour.
On Saturday, September 29th at 3:30pm, meet on the Lower Loop at the Peanut Mine Restoration site to begin the bike tour. Coal Creek Watershed Coalition staff will give a tour of key sites they've been working on to restore or reclaim for the health of the watershed in the Slate River valley. I have two temporary installations along the route that pay homage to water and its constant presence and effect on our lives. The works will be up throughout the weekend for viewing/touring on your own by bike or hike.
